The BenQ A500 is very compact and stylish clamshell mobile phone; any body can love it. measuring only 83.5 x 45 x 23.1mm and weighs 98g it feels comfortable to hold and easy to slip into your pocket. It is equipped with a sharp TFT 256K colors display with the resolution of 128 x 160 pixels, which is sufficient resolution for a small mobile phone. because it is clamshell phone, so a second CSTN 4096 colors display dominates the front cover.

After opening the flip you can find a nice numeric keypad with beautifully arranged of keys that makes the phone easier to dial. You can also find a five-way navigation buttons centered below the display.

It comes with a huge 20 MB of built-in memory to store plenty of ringtones, wallpapers, images etc. If 20 MB is less for you it has SD card slot, which can accept upto 1 GB of card.

Powered by a 700 mAh Li-Ion battery with an expected stand by of 180 hours and a talk time of 3 hours the BenQ BenQ A500 is an excellent phone with nice camera, you can take really great pictures. We found that in India it is cheap as compared to Nokia.
