Specially designed for women or style conscious the BenQ A520 is a compact and smart mobile phone introduced by BenQ Corporation in 2005. This clamshell and stylish phone is very light and compact weighing only 96g and dimensions 45 x 82 x 22 mm. It comes with OLED 65K colors display with resolution of 128 x 128 pixels, which is ideal for a small phone like this. A second OLED 65K colors display of resolution 39 x 96 pixels dominates the front cover. Just below the display you can find a numeric keypad has good placed keys, with the comfortable keys makes the phone easier to dial.
In addition to normal call recieve and send features it can also captures images in VGA (640 x 480) with in-built camera. So, if you are not an amateur and just looking for a camera for your email and other web based applications, you don't need to buy extra digital camera, because 640 x 480 pixels is sufficient for web. And, if you want printout, it will not fulfill your requirement, you have to buy atleast 2.0 mega pixels digital camera.
It supports Tri-band GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900, GPRS, WAP 2.0 and JAVA MIDP 1.0. Phone comes with various accessories that includes pretty 40-channels polyphonic ring tones, Vibration alert, iTap, Photo editor, Calendar, Calculator, Currency convertor and phonebook where upto 500 phone numbers can be stored, means you don't need to dial the number again and again, just select the number from phonebook and send the msg or call easily. It offers 2 MB of internal memory which is dynamically shared between images and J2ME applications.

Overall, BenQ A520 is a great mobile phone with nice features, the only down side is that it comes with only 2 Mb of memory, you have to spend extra if you want to add more memory to your phone.
