BenQ-Siemens A58
The BenQ-Siemens A58 is a trendy and user-friendly cell phone. It is lightweight at just 85g only and dimensions 102 x 46 x 17.6 mm. It is based on the features of Siemens A31, only difference is that it has blue tooth. It offers CSTN 65K colors display with resolution of 128 x 128 pixels, which is a standard resolution for this kind of mobile phones. The plastic keypad has good placed keys, with the comfortable center keys; make the phone easier to dial. You can also find four-way navigation centered below the display.
BenQ-Siemens A58 offers Tri-band GSM 900/GSM 1800/GSM 1900 as well as Bluetooth and GPRS, a web browser, email client, vibrating alert, MP3 ring tones, PC synchronization, hands-free calling and Java. A58 doesn't comes with camera, multimedia player or expandable memory but all the basic features you will get along with 6 MB of internal memory that allows to store 500 records in phonebook. Other features includes 32-channels polyphonic ring tones, Vibration alert, SMS, EMS, MMS, Email, Games, T9, Organizer, Calculator, Calendar, Stopwatch, Voice memo and Built-in hands free.
BenQ-Siemens A58 comes with a RF connector on the back, so it can be mounted into a car kit. A58 is powered by an 820 Li-Ion mAh standard battery which has capacity to work up to 300 hours in standby mode and talk time up to 6 hours. It looks pretty good with smart Siemens-designed housing and two stunning colors; Mercury Silver and Carbon Black
Beside lots of pretty features, there are a couple of drawbacks - the main one is that PC connectivity is via a serial cable or Blue tooth only, so there's no USB support. And CSTN displays looks much poorer as compared to most popular TFT displays.
